The party planning process begins with a phone call, email conversation, or meeting where we’ll talk about your party. You can email or text Simply Harvey at 815-530-9819 or [email protected] to set up a time and date to talk or meet. Simply Harvey asks that you schedule our DIY Craft Night In no less than three weeks before your desired party date. This allows us time to secure the date, gather all materials and cut all supplies needed to complete guests door signs.
During our planning process please be prepared to answer the following questions related to this event:
What is the theme or holiday you are celebrating?
How many people will be attending your party?
How many options do you want to offer your guests?
Do you have a space you feel comfortable for your guests to paint in?
Do you need additional tables or table clothes brought to your event?
Do you prefer signs to be stained prior to the event? (this helps to eliminate the odor given off by the stain)
Will the event be held in a room with carpeting?
To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit of $75 is requested from the party host. This non-refundable deposit will go towards the party hosts door sign and the mileage Simply Harvey will have to travel to and from the event. Once all has been confirmed, Simply Harvey will also provide a complementary digital invitation for the party host to send to their guests with all the party details and descriptions.
Simply Harvey offers a custom DIY 14in Wood Door Hanger that totals to $45 per person.
The party host can pick from a variety of options or they can custom create a design to offer to their guests. Once the design(s) is picked from the host, a google form will be sent to the party host for their guests to complete 8-10 days before the party. This is where the guests can either pick the designs offered or inform Simply Harvey of any customizations requested (wording). Please note: the design and colors selected is what will be brought to the event. No additional colors will be brought.
On the google form completed by the party guests, they will indicate the payment option they desire to secure their spot. Payments options include:

Simply Harvey asks that all party guests pay for their spot 1 week prior to the event.
The day of the party, Simply Harvey will reach out to the party host to confirm times of arrival and party details. We request that the host allow Simply Harvey a minimum of an hour prior to the event to set up and prep.
During the event, Simply Harvey will confirm all guests have the correct door sign pieces and will stay for the entirety of the event to help with design and assembly process. After all party guests have completed their door sign, Simply Harvey will stay to clean up all supplies, brushes and tables provided. It is requested that Simply Harvey have access to a sink to clean all brushes and any supplies needing cleaning. All paints used are water based and should not stain to damage any sinks.
Simply Harvey is a one woman show and continues to try to balance home, work and small business life. With this in mind, please reach out to schedule an event with enough time for planning and preparation. Additionally, we ask for the party host to keep lines of communication open so planning, designing and day of event festivities can go smoothly.

All custom/personalized pieces (including but not limited to invitations, day-of wedding pieces, and guest addressing) are non-returnable and non-refundable. Simply Harvey guarantees customer satisfaction, so if there are any issues, they will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
